Medialogy Ph.D. student Steven Gelineck and associate professor Stefania Serafin
have an article published in this summer’s Computer Music Journal: “A Practical Approach towards an Exploratory Framework for Physical Modeling”, Computer Music Journal, 34:2, pp. 51–65, Summer 2010.

A paper by Assistant Professor Bob L. Sturm (and Associate Professor in ADMT AAU Mads G. Christensen) has been accepted for presentation at the 2010 Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems, and Computers. The paper is titled, “Cyclic Matching Pursuits with Multiscale Time-Frequency Dictionaries.”

Medialogy Associate Professor Luis Emilio Bruni has had his paper “Cognitive Sustainability in the Age of Digital Culture” accepted for presentation at FIS 2010: Fourth International Conference on the Foundations of Information Science: Towards a new science of information Beijing, China, 21-24 August 2010. This will also be published in the journal Cognition, Communication, Co-operation.

Medialogy students are participating in a workshop on September 1, 2010 for the development of an Interactive Digital Playground at Musicon (Roskilde). The students will show three projects that they developed and implemented at this years Roskilde Festival. The projects are:

  • Twistencer
